Cut Spending or Raise Taxes?

The President's jobs bill which is now being debated in Congress has both. Also upcoming is the work of the Super Committee on Deficit Reduction charged with finding 1.5 Trillion dollars in cuts by November as part of the August budget compromise. What is your opinion? Can we do both?

If you think we should cut spending, what government programs do you think should be cut ?

If you think we should raise taxes, where should we raise them ? Who should we raise them on ?

Should we have a balanced budget amendment which wouldn't let the government spend more than it raises in revenue through taxes?

How does government taxing and spending impact the economy?
